Entry Requirements

For the PMI-ACP® certification pathway, candidates must meet PMI's current eligibility requirements. As of 2026, PMI requires a secondary diploma or higher, 21 hours of formal Agile training, and an applicable Agile experience pathway. One route is two years of Agile experience within the past five years; other routes include qualifying GAC education plus Agile experience, an applicable third-party Agile certification plus Agile experience, or an active PMP® certification.
